A highly successful Irish-owned international company, headquartered in Galway. The accounting team comprises around 40 staff in total, and is expanding due to business growth and recent acquisitions.
This is a great opportunity for someone with accounts experience interested in working in a high-volume, busy international environment.

Finance & Payroll Administrator
Located in Galway and reporting to the Financial Controller.

A great opportunity for a candidate with some accounts experience and an interest in developing expertise in the payroll area.  Payroll experience an advantage but not necessary.  
Initially this role will be supporting the Accounts Payable function. This will involve high-volume invoice processing, using SAP and Excel.  
Having mastered this area you will have to opportunity to work in one of the busiest payroll departments in Galway, responsible for the payroll for all retail and support staff across all stores in the UK and Ireland.  You will work with your colleagues in the team to meet deadlines and ensure all processes are carried out in an efficient and accurate manner.  
It's a demanding, dynamic working environment that offers excellent experience.

What you'll need to succeed:
The role requires an efficient, flexible individual. Speed and accuracy are very important.
IT skills such as SAP or advanced Excel (v-lookups and pivot tables) are an advantage, though an aptitude for accounts, ability to multi-task and a positive attitude are more important.  You will need a strong personality and have the ability to deal with customers on a daily basis.
